Vibration control for centrifuges is always recommended, as they are sitting in most cases in flexible steel structures, the natural frequencies of which are always in the range of the centrifuge speed.

To keep the response motion within limits when passing through resonances of the spring supported centrifuge or especially during the operation of a centrifuge - with variable speed - in such resonance, damping is of extreme importance. For these cases GERB spring units with integrated Viscodampers® will provide the necessary system parameters.
