Fans consist of a motor and the actual axial or centrifugal fan. Smaller units sit simply on a steel frame while larger units, especially the large axial fans, need a concrete foundation. Vibrations caused by fans depend on their balancing quality, which will deteriorate over the time by residues sticking to the rotor as well as due to wear and tear.
